Chemistry
Chemistry is a part of everything in our surroundings. In the Chemistry programme, you learn about how different types of matter are combined and what properties they possess. This could be, for example, the matter found in food or medicine.
Communication
You learn how to write text for various individuals and media. It can be anything from people at a work place, radio listeners, or patients in a hospital. You will work with different types of media, for example websites, video and radio.
Computer science
Computer Science is a theoretic programme in IT, which provides you with a broad comprehension of how IT systems function. You will also acquire the scientific tools needed to solve IT problems and develop new systems.
Cultural Encounters
The Cultural Encounters programme deals with the opportunities and challenges that occur when people from different cultures meet. You will study, among other things, how language is affected and changed when cultures come together.
Environmental Biology
Environmental Biology deals with living organisms and their physical surroundings. You will study living organisms of all sizes from cells to large mammals. Environmental biologists also examine how humans affect nature.
English
The English programme deals with language, literature and culture in the English-speaking parts of the world, for example Great Britain, USA and Australia.
International Development Studies
You will study the developing countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America and the developments they have gone through from colonial times until today. You will learn both about the countries' culture, politics and economics and about their relations with other countries.
Mathematics
Mathematics is a theoretical subject, where you learn to solve problems with the help of numbers and symbols. You will learn to think logically and abstractly with the help of mathematical methods and terms.
Molecular Biology
The study of cells, and the molecules that make them up, are the core of molecular biology. You will have subjects such as gene splicing, genetics, biochemistry and microbiology.
International Basic Studies in Social Sciences
You will work across disciplines in social sciences and learn, among other things, about political systems, the welfare society, about Danish and global economics, and about the relationship between individuals, society and the environment.
Public Administration
You will study the structure of the public administration and the relationship between citizens and politicians. You will be qualified to work in international companies or organisations.
International Basic Studies in Natural Science
You will work across disciplines within natural science. You will learn how to create models and perform experiments, and you will study natural science's role in society.
International Basic Studies in Humanities
In the programme International Basic Studies in Humanities, you will work across disciplines with subjects within the Humanities such as language, literature, philosophy, history and psychology. You will learn to analyse problems and work with scientific methods within the Humanities.
