Behavioral Economics (7,5 ECTS master course)
Time and Place: July 30 - August 17, 2012
Learn how the toolbox of experimental economics can be used in research, and how to be a critical consumer of the rapidly growing behavioral and experimental economics literature.

Investment Theory (7,5 ECTS master course)
Schedule: August 6 - August 17, 2012
In the course flexibility in investment projects are explored to decide when to invest rather than facing the choice between investing now or not investing. Moreover there may be other flexibilities in investment projects such as the possibilities to stop the project and to expand the project. Due to the flexibility the usual NPV rule (if the net present value is positive, then invest) turns out to be wrong. In the course a theory is developed, where the options or flexibilities in investment projects are priced.

Organization Theory (7,5 ECTS master course)
Schedule: July 30 - August 17, 2012
The course focuses on work organizations: Business organizations (private firms) and organizations within the public sector, for example public administration, public hospitals, educational and social institutions. A number of basic theories are presented such as Classical Organization Theory, Human Relations, Human Resources and recent theories about structure, processes and culture in organizations.

Topics in Financial Time Series Econometrics (Financial Econometrics B) (7,5 ECTS master course)
Schedule:: August 6 - August 24, 2012
After completion of the course students will have obtained a fundamental knowledge of central econometric modeling as applied in research within financial econometrics. The course introduces topics from research in financial time series econometric, and illustrates these by way of discussion and empirical application. The course includes theory for estimation and testing, dynamic properties and linkage with applied literature.

Entrepreneurship (7,5 ECTS master course)
Schedule: July 12 - July 25, 2012 with an oral exam 29 August 2012
The aim of the course is to provide students with an opportunity to work in small teams using experiential learning techniques and rapid prototyping to experience firsthand the cycle from idea to deliverable within severe time and resource constraints.

The Methodology and Applications in Cointegrated Vector Autoregression (VAR) Approach (10 ECTS master course)
Schedule: August 6 - August 26, 2012
The focus of this course is on likelihood based analysis of the cointegrated VAR model with an emphasis on applicability, particularly in the field of macroeconomics and international finance. Cointegration analysis is a means to uncover, estimate and test stationary relations among non-stationary variables. Teaching and Work Forms will be based on lectures, exercises, and individual project work under guidance.
