Agrobiology
In the programme, you will be introduced to subjects such as Animal Health and Welfare, Plant Nutrition and Health, Agriculture in a Global Perspective and Organic Agriculture.
You will learn about agriculture in a global perspective and about organic farming.
The programme gives you a broad knowledge about primary agriculture. You will obtain specialised knowledge in aspects of agriculture relating to quality, biology, communication, technology and organisation.
You can choose one of these lines:
- Animal Health and Welfare
- Plant Nutrition and Health
- Organic Agriculture
You will study the processes from the genetic background material in agricultural production to the quality of the end product.
Teaching varies between lectures, classroom instruction, exercises and project work in groups. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.
The final 6 months you will be making your MSc thesis. The thesis is a scientific research project, often carried out in collaboration with one of university's industrial partners.
Graduation from the master's degree programme confers the title Master of Science in Engineering.
Entry Requirements
To be admitted to an MSc programme, you must have a bachelor degree in a relevant subject.
In addition, documentation may be required verifying your proficiency in English is at a specified level.

Admission

Tuition
There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students, unless you are a student from a Nordic or EU country, or from Liechtenstein.
Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.

Semester Start
An academic year is made up of two semesters, which begin around September 1 and February 1.
