Media Technology and Games
In this programme you learn to develop and design the technology behind the reproduction of images, sound, speech and graphics.
Your get the core education for doing research on computer games or designing or building them, and the programme can be studied as a 2-year MSc programme or as single courses.

In the Media Technology and Games programme, you will study areas such as Game Design, Programming, Theory & Analysis, Artificial Intelligence and Development.
You will work cross-disciplinarily, often on joint projects and actual game productions. The programme is focused on providing a core education for those wanting to do research on computer games, design them, or build them.
The Media Technology and Games programme has two branches:
- Design and analysis: Has a creative and analytical approach to games. This branch emphasizes the development and theoretical understanding of games.
- Technology: Focuses on the technological part of game development. You will learn about the technical implementation of games.
You will be able to work across the two areas or specialise in one of them.
Teaching varies between courses, class exercises and independent project work. Courses are given mostly in the form of lectures.
Media Technology and Games can be studied as a:

You also have the possibility to take single courses or subjects within the programme.
If you choose to complete the master's degree programme, you will graduate with the academic title of Master of Science (MSc).

Entry Requirements
To be admitted to an MSc programme, you must have a bachelor's degree. If you want to work within the Technology branch, you must come with experience from a previous computer science education.
In addition, documentation may be required verifying your proficiency in English is at a specified level.

Tuition
There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students, unless you are a student from a Nordic or EU country, or from Liechtenstein.
