Middle East Studies
You will be introduced to subjects such as history, culture and politics, for example the founding of the Palestinian parliament, and sociology e.g. the conditions of the refugees in Arab refugee camps.
The programme also involves lectures, classroom instruction and project work in groups.

The Middle East Studies programme is about the Middle East from 1920 until today. The programme will give you knowledge of history, culture, politics, for example the founding of the Palestinian parliament, and sociology such as the conditions of the refugees in Arab refugee camps.
You will study areas such as the war and reconstruction of Iraq, the Israel/Palestine conflict and the modernisation proces of the Middle East countries.

- Politics and International Politics
Teaching varies between lectures, classroom instruction and project work in groups. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.
In the third semester there is a 3 month placement in an organisation or a political or administrative unit in the Middle East. The final 6-12 months you will be making your MA thesis.
Graduation from the master's degree programme confers the title Master of Arts (MA).
Entry Requirements
To be admitted to an MA programme, you must have a bachelor degree in a relevant subject.
In addition, documentation may be required verifying your proficiency in English is at a specified level.

Admission

Tuition
There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students, unless you are a student from a Nordic or EU country, or from Liechtenstein.
Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
